I have some relatives who went that route. Any nisseis aren’t really considered ‘real’ japanese, but there are enough brazilians around that there are jobs within their own subculture. Brazilian jiu-jitsu academies are hot.
I donated most of my books to the local library, only keep very few - coffee table kind mostly. Kindle paperwhite with electronic access to the library and a kindle unlimited subscription lets me read between 80-100 books per year, and i don’t have to use up shelf space anymore.

I believe HD painted themselves in a corner. Younger people don’t want to be perceived as the typical HD owner, and the current customer base isn’t interested in any newer-looking models. Not sure if there’s any way out of it, even if the new bikes are solid.

I could use this when i’m riding my motorcycle, and wife’s home wondering where i’m at or when i’ll be home. Also to share with other family members on long trips. Or at a theme park, so you don’t have to get your phone out to send/answer the ‘where are you’ texts.
Yep - all it takes is someone to drop their bag/backpack on the floor at your house while they crawl out. They also move very fast, but mostly when they notice you are asleep.

Actually, I checked my total purchase history on stubs for the past 12 months, and it’s pretty close. A 3D ticket is around 15, so if you watch 2 movies per month you’re already saving money. Side-effect: wife said now she can go watch the movies she likes... I used to tell her to wait and watch them on cable later,…
I just signed up, had to do my wife’s separately, emailed their support asking exactly about that. They should add ‘multipliers’ to the subscription, so we could order the 2 tickets at the same time. Let’s see how well/fast they respond to customer concerns.
