if the movie is only being shown in 3d/dolby or some more ‘optional’ screening, i won’t even be able to watch it. I wouldn’t mind paying for the difference, but this is too limiting. Like having netflix, but only being allowed to watch non-HD movies.

only a few theaters allow e-ticketing, so you can’t really plan ahead most of the time. i’m not cheap - between regular, dolby, 3d, real3d, etc, i usually end up on a more expensive one, so keep your assumptions to yourself. 

Almost good enough - need to be able to get into any movie, not just ‘regular’ 2D. Most importantly, need to be able to buy in advance, so I can reserve my seat. I’d hate to go to the theater and find out it’s sold out, or no good seats available.

I think it’s exactly because in the end we may notice this ‘alternate’ reality isn’t much different that it’s a valuable piece. Shocking not by the differences, but due to the similarities.

Apparently all it takes to register a pet for ‘emotional support’ is to fill some form online. No special behavior check. While it may still help the owner, you may have an animal with poor socialization being dragged into situations like this.

It’s crucial to have some kind of retention policy, letting you keep multiple older backups of your files. Having an updated backup (or even two) will not help you if the files in the backup are already encrypted.
