Probably not - I had to watch the first Twilight movie just to be able to argue back when people claimed it was 'ok'. This may end up being nice, but it really didn't need to be a 'relaunch', like spiderman. There are enough books and storylines that they could have picked. I'll reserve my judgement until I see it

Pics or it didn't happen - good luck - this is way beyond my skills and tools.

Not really SPOILERS!, since they aren't going to follow the EU, but: Leia becomes a jedi later, her 3 kids too, one of them becomes a sith lord, and Luke and Mara Jade's kid is a jedi as well. I'm going to stick to the books from now on.

And they are going to wonder later why it was a flop. Huge number of fans, and they decide to piss them off from the start.

And I guess unless it's incredibly accurate, and made of very hard wood, it will be wobbly as hell.

That probably wouldn't be healthy if you place your glasses next to your wallet with your credit cards.

Irrelevance? There are already more windows 8/8.1 users that mac. Microsoft has corporate software (SharePoint for instance) that has no competition from Apple nor Google.

Or you could just set it to boot to desktop and get over it.

First step in securing your privacy - get rid of glassholes.

There's no 'microgravity wasteland of Mars', since gravity on Mars is around 38% of Earth's. First paragraph is misleading.

Any device except kindle. Luckily many publishers let you pick multiple formats. Amazon not supporting epub sucks.

Except it's not e-ink. Can't use it to read in my backyard with 3 enclosing white walls. Anything that's not e-ink turns into a mirror.

To make things easier, set up your kindle email account, so you can email ebooks directly to your kindle - they will be converted if possible. The send-to-kindle desktop app helps too - you can right-click a file to send, or print to the send-t0-kindle printer.

I'll guess seeing an image is different from remembering it - I'd like to see that experiment.

One side benefit of office lens: when you send it to onenote, the photo is OCR'd, and you can search on text embedded in the image.

Owning both a kindle paperwhite and an older nook (without built-in light), the only area where the nook kick's kindle's e-ass is reading pdfs. Kindle pretty much requires you to convert the docs, otherwise you can't enlarge fonts, only zoom to parts of the page, which is ridiculous.

All we need is to find that damn butterfly that causes hurricanes and have it fly backwards.

Evolution doesn't work that way. This trait either gave us an advantage, or didn't harm us. It didn't come up to solve any problem, so there's no why. It's more of a 'why not'.

Useless unless they finally give me an 'unlike' button.
