@daPrinz: Actually for image searches, it kicks google's ass.

@Saturn666: You're correct. Class measures sequential speed, but ignores random access speed and other issues. It's like buying a car based on max speed, but ignoring handling. If you don't buy it from the phone company directly you will have no one to complain about if it doesn't work. Unless you find the mythical

@Saturn666: Then you must buy the sd card from the manufacturer, with a return clause. I bought a 8gb card for my focus, had to remove it and now can't even reformat the card. The problem is the class is no indication of random access speed, which causes random crashes. And those bastards overcharge on the card,

Since the first chart says nothing about procedures, here it is: for the caipirinha, lime has to be crushed with sugar (actually, a lot more than the suggested amount). It has to look like wet sand when you're done, before adding any liquid. And add a bit of water to cut down the acidity of the lime as well.

@irishfighter: In Illinois you'll get 15 years in jail for that...

@spaghetti335: And I was born in Rio - WTF am I doing here???

@Kakkoii: Sorry, wrong link, here it is:

@ShrutiBorus: It was actually a good experience for her. It wouldn't have been my choice, but I agree that it's way better than an ipad.

My daughter had the white ibooks in 4th grade. At least it was a real computer. In my opinion, if kids can come out of school knowing how to use basic office tools, it's much easier to score a job. That's why using apple instead of windows isn't a good idea. The market is still Microsoft oriented, no matter what

So they're going to tell kids that God created the ipads, because it's stupid to think that engineers would come up with that idea by improving computers incrementally...

@Sora57: I have a beagle, he'll eat taco bell (or mcd's), but the only thing he sniffed and walked away from was oatmeal.

@jalb: How about Giz setting up a poll for this? I usually don't even read the tips just because it requires an additional click to get to the single page list.

@aja175: Thanks - maybe they should hire you to review these posts. Lately Giz is sounding like those supermarket newspapers...

@Nick Radford: Many tools from MS are free too (especially for students), and have more help available than open source software. Besides, the article does not state that clearly - it misleads people into ignoring a huge market opportunity for their careers.
