And if she’s one of the many, many people who just can’t stand to be alone with their own thoughts for any length of time, therapy is probably a really good idea.

With all that money (and friends, it appears), why doesn’t anyone tell her that the best way to get beyond this is NOT to whine about cancel culture, but to simply do some good works? Why didn’t she take the time to meet with Stodden and maybe launch an anti-bullying thing for girls? Or work with teens “in trouble”

She went from “lucky enough to be held accountable for past gross behavior” to “im caaaaaaaaaaancelled and depressed because no one is paying attention to me on social media, how will my THIRTY FIVE million people that follow me see what i have to saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay since im caaaaaancelled.”

Allegedly, money can’t buy happiness but if I had Chrissy Teigen kind of money (and two small children) I’d fine a way to be happy. It is incredibly sad that you could go through your adult life and have all the tools of happiness at your disposal but your addiction ends up being Twitter attention.

Bucks in 6.

I hope she gets to run, but I don’t think they should bend any rules for her. That’s not really fair to athletes who may have abstained to pass their own tests during this testing period.

Michael Phelps was also banned for supposedly smoking pot and he didn’t even take a test so your assessment that this is race related is reaching, sorry. Change the rules in the future, sure. Pot isn’t a performance enhancing drug. If anything it’ll hamper your performance. But she knew the deal. Opportunity of a

Yep, he just didn’t test positive a month before he was to compete in the Olympics. He was suspended and lost a bunch of sponsorships from it for 3 months over a photo...not actually testing positive. He was also suspended for 6 months for a DUI or something like that and missed a World Championship so I am not sure

Swimmer? I thought Phelps got similar treatment for a picture of him smoking at a party.

I thought that Canadian snowboarder was banned as well for this?

Castor claims his decision was because he was sure he couldn’t get a conviction based on the evidence, so a non-prosecution agreement allowed a civil trial to go forward and force Cosby to testify. Given that his decision was pre Me-Too, he might have been right about that.

On another site, they made it sound like in exchange for Cosby’s testimony in Constand’s civil suit, where she was awarded over 3M, he would not be criminally prosecuted. While I think this is BS, if a judge told me if I helped in one legal matter, I would not be prosecuted in another, and than I was, I would go to

Clearly no one in this comment section actually watched the match or the one before it. Two players have now been injured on the same court under the same circumstances. (https://www.bbc.com/sport/tennis/57668301) It has nothing to do with her being “past her prime”

I’m not sure many of the commenters here actually saw what happened. The match right before hers on the same court ended due to an injury also. The person playing against Federer slipped and hurt his leg. Serena also slipped on the court and seemed to twist her leg in a way that she just could not continue on. The

It was an unconscionable agreement that should never have been made in the first place.

The justice system did screw it up big time here. And it sucks. It especially sucks for the women that he raped. It sucks for all women who were raped, because of what this implies in the future as well.

First let me say Bill Cosby is fucking a rapist. His accusers deserve justice and I believe them. Bill Cosby is not innocent.

There’s two places for anger to go here: Bill Cosby, obviously, because of his sexual assault, and the DA who lied and said he wasn’t going to bring a suit against him. This is not the PA Supreme Court’s fault. No matter how obviously guilty someone is, you can’t set a precedent that it’s ok to revoke someone’s fifth

Shitty outcome. But it’s not a procedural technicality.

I feel like this article overlooks the most important and depressing thing here.
