My husband and I watched this last night. I found many aspects of it delightful and refreshing, except for...um...the entire storyline of Harper being a gaslighting abusive asshole. Romcoms have long gripped feverishly onto their “yes this is clearly an abusive relationship, but *squeeeee!*” torch, and this one is no

I’m watching this right now, and honestly... Harper is pissing me TF off.

It’s a cute holiday flick.

The disrespect for Saul Goodman crosses the line and is completely uncalled for.

Yes. The movie is mediocre. It also doesn’t help that both characters are both delusional and unlikeable. You don’t give a shit what happens to them after a while.

I thought the movie had way too much aggressive acting. It reminds me of the trailers for Hillbilly Elegy and August: Osage County.

Yes, the hell of having a nice home, a beautiful spouse, and plenty of food.  Being poor only looks interesting.

my wife brought up this possibility too (she also nailed that the baby was maybe Hugh Grant’s) but I don’t know, the weird flashbacks she’s having I *think* are just what she thinks happens, the way you might imagine what it was like when you find out your spouse was having an affair—your mind fills in the blanks

Just a theory but I think Grace has dissociative identity disorder and that part of her knows about the affair and her husband losing his job, that she followed him after he left the fundraiser, saw them banging at her studio, and killed Elena after he left. The image she saw at the bus stop of Elena getting that

I guess this answers the question, “will the Hillbilly Elegy reviews be written before anyone actually sees the film?” Don’t totally get the pre-determined hostility toward this movie.

I could not disagree more with this review save for how great Nicole Kidman’s performance is This was an A grade onion and with each layer being peeled away I thought the reveals were very much earned. The reviewer’s issue with the physician at the hospital not being able to speak to her is the case against her

I guess she’s decided there’s no going back to New York rich society life, and is leaning hard into the conservative media circuit.

I live in WI, and I thought about mail in voting but I went with early voting instead. Went on the first day, only took about a half hour. I live in a “rural” city though, so not a lot of people to contend with.

She must have some astounding dirt on people. I really don’t understand the longevity of a 70 year-old woman who has had the same haircut for decades in an industry that prioritizes youth and constant change above all else.

Oh yeah. If you look at who voted for Donald Trump, it was the wealthy white people. Bitch needs to look in the mirror.

So shocked!! The ‘icon’ is a piece of shit. Wow, didn’t see that coming.

Raise your hand if you already knew this. She is both a user and useful depending on your agenda. This does not change her core.

“... contributing editor Phyllis Posnick allegedly blamed Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential victory on Black Americans (“I knew this was going to happen. It’s all the Blacks’ fault. They didn’t vote.”)

I honestly don’t understand why she’s so untouchable. She should have been fired long ago for this shit and so much more. Didn't we all learn the lesson from Matt Lauer's firing that the "essential" person isn't so essential to larger success?

I watched all of The Vow. I liked it, but as much as I found it fascinating, it was deeply frustrating. What bothered me about it makes me think you are pointing in the right direction to get the story from this superior program. Unfortunately, A., I don’t get Starz. B., I am pretty thoroughly over it on this story.
