God bless blind items. This marriage has been on the rocks for awhile if you believe them. Not surprised.

But who’s the hero in this story? DC social circles sound like the 7th level of hell.

That’s because these are old school Washington insider assholes who lament “the good ole days” of Katherine Graham parties. As awful as Louise Linton is, these socialites are just as awful in their own way.

If FX and Marvel were 100% happy with Glover and the direction of Deadpool, one script about Taylor Swift wouldn’t have ended the series. Even Stephen said that script was the last straw, presumably of many straws. So it feels unfair that Swift gets the blame when it could’ve been any script FX and Marvel didn’t like

It’s not like those opportunities happened overnight for those guys. An Inconvenient Truth was released in 2006, 6 years after Al Gore lost. John Kerry became Secretary of State in 2013, 9 years after he lost. It’s been 5 years since Mitt lost, now he’s getting back in the political ring.

I know!! When Oleg told his wife, I’ll be back, I thought he basically wrote his death certificate. Honestly, Oleg and Stan are the two that would really bum me out to see die. Meanwhile, if some sort of justice isn’t meted out to Elizabeth by the end of the series, I’ll be so disappointed. Her body count is passing

I almost completely agree with this assessment except, to me, Darlene came across as the major peacemaker instead of Dan. Dan was almost silent in that first episode fight between Roseanne and Jackie while Darlene did her best to patch the relationship up.

Not to mention I looked up Lecy Goranson’s age and she actually is 43! Btw, I had no idea the actor who played Mark actually died in the early 2000's.

I would’ve said that, in this day and age, the NFL cheerleaders would still be good social media marketers to promote your team. But you’re making these women set their social media profiles to private and limiting how they interact, you’ve just taken away the best use of them for your team.

Great catch on the title!

I don’t see Beyonce’s name in that list of celebrities above. Are we going to be calling out every major star who didn’t march or just Taylor?

Not sure what Taylor Swift needs to feel bad about since she donated to March For Our Lives and publicly supported it.

I noticed that too. And she adds that her amazing karma helped get the ring back. That basically implies that bad things happen to you if you have bad karma. At least I remember why I dislike her so much!

I was ready to say the exact same thing that Jezebel was being unfair because anyone would be scared and freaking out if they lost their engagement ring. But...then I read her statement. Pure Paris Hilton trash. She assumes that if someone else found the ring, they would have stolen it. Fuck her for assuming that. And

“Fremaux is very concerned with the dignity of his festival”

I didn’t really get it. I watched 2.5 episodes and I was out. The premise is cute and funny but the humor felt forced and really sitcomy. Honestly, I thought Barrymore was the weakest link in this. She came off like a really bad actress. I couldn’t decide if it was her or the writing.

I agree. It’s been a long time since I’ve been in college (graduated in ‘95), but the only piece of advice I’d give to a high school senior on the fence about where to go, choose the well known, brand name school. Schools like Michigan, Notre Dame, USC, the Ivy League, and plenty of others have incredible national

She’s just as great in Love, Simon as she is in Insecure. And it’s the exact same scenario of her having limited screen time but making the absolute most of it. She really is a scene stealer.

This made me think of another example. For the movie Wonder, I’m curious how much Jacob Tremblay was paid relative to Owen Wilson and Julia Roberts. The kid was the full lead but I’d be surprised if he got paid more than either of the adult actors even though he should be since he did more.

Trump does everything to say he’s different and better than Obama but I’m guessing he’ll be invoking Obama in this case. Julian Castro as HUD Secretary also violated the Hatch Act by publicly endorsing Clinton in 2016 but he wasn’t disciplined by Obama. So in fairness, there’s no precedent that Trump needs to
