there has been a strange resurgence in the use of "rad" recently....at least around me (baltimore/dc). it seems to be used almost exclusively by 1) skaters (no surprise there) 2) hippies/burners (??). it probably tops out around age 30 - i'll be 31 in a couple months & it would feel very forced if i were to use it.
