Oh dang, the grays.

They made sure to mention that the witnesses who flagged down the cop were black. I wonder if they’d have mentioned it if a couple of white people had jumped that gun. Is this the police department press release version of “It’s ok, I know a lot of black people.”?

Clock spring.

Oh horrors! Toyota have made something slower than a Corolla sedan and we’re not going to get it.  Shame.

I couldn’t get my foot off the gas and onto the brake. The space between the brake pedal and the tunnel was narrower than my foot. Unless there was something wrong with the one car I’ve driven, I assumed they were all that way.

I took the seats out of my Justy, but put them back in for sound deadening when the muffler rusted off.

6'4", it was tight, but I couldn’t get my foot from under the brake.

The Fiero is a car that doesn’t even exist to me. I can’t drive it because I don’t fit. The only other car I’ve had that experience with is the Midget/Sprite. I want to like them, but they’re non-starters.

I’m not a Ford or Kia fan by any stretch, but the quality difference between the 1st gen Festiva and the Aspire were night and day. The first was a licensed Mazda 121 built by Kia. That meant Mazda’s standards had to be met. The Aspire was designed by Kia and Ford, and built to their standards. Subsequently the Aspire

I know people who ditched their Aspires for rusty, beat up 15 year old Festivas. That’s how bad they were.

Touch your cars all you want, but telling people it’s okay to just walk up and manhandle other people’s possessions isn’t cool. If I’ve got a lot of money, time and effort tied up in a car, I don’t want every idiot around to think it’s okay to drag their fingernails, jewelry or clothing across my paint. Just touching

The toy that amazes me the most are Matchbox and Hotwheels. They’re the same price now as they were 30 years ago. Either they were making huge money then or they’re losing their asses now.

To be fair, Lego pieces are probably some of the highest cost high volume precision plastics in the world. The plastic is high quality, of course, but the cost of their tooling has to be insane. Molds wear out and for the quality that Lego demand, replacement costs are huge.

By now, he’s gone through a few BHG’s.

Also, FiveLiters1 what? 1 Cup? That’s gonna be a big ‘un.

It used to be that car manufacturers would do the 2-tone color change under trim at a body line. It generally made the cars more interesting to look at, gave them character, and made them easier to find in parking lots. TOYOTA, HOW DID YOU FUCK UP ALL OF THE THINGS? Omg, kill it with fire.

That Is Beige.

Anything put on my car in a parking lot instantly becomes mine. If you’d like me to give it to you, I will, at high velocity.

When flatlanders drive on hills.

When you’re standing next to it, make sure you’re between traffic and the car to eliminate as many escape vectors as possible.
