Last saturday in Chicagoland, a very light drizzle fell on the very cold ground. Everything turned into a sheet of ice. Wiped out twice just shuffling to first get some sand, and then use salt (yuck!) to treat the walkable surfaces. Everything was a mirror.

Oh, the number of times seeing a car (or truck!) drive with the front running lights, and no tail lights! How is that even possible, who would have thought this was a good setting to have!? And still show the dashboard lit up?

Yeah, and it’s just a convoluted process to begin with. Find the trailer you like, get the tow vehicle that can tow it (probably almost everyone first-timing will not have the right car / truck for it...), and then the extra amount of stuff you have to buy to make it livable, towable, usable, and so on.

Yeah, this basically becomes a hard-wall tent :-) We’ve been using our camper that way in the cold. Normally we would tent-camp only, and so around freezing the season would just end.

same with the Grand Cherokee WK2 cigarette lighter inside the center front console cubby. A dime fits in there perfectly... Ask me how i know.

fell into that same trap... If only i can find my original post to nuke it from orbit, and kill it with fire.

Never mind - reading comprehension fail.

64000 or 18000 containers?

At least they didn’t do this kind of cooking...

No way! They ate ortolan? Bastards.

As long as they don’t slam that Picasso - that, while in Europe, was I think my favoritest car, even pipping the RS2.0 I drove for a while.

Oh, that snap, crackle and pop...

I absolutely hated it. Got this as a rental, trailhawk trim, drove around the US for 2 weeks in it. Most of it with headwinds (because it was early spring, big storms further south when we started driving west-ish)

Then the world is poorer for it.

Also, car drivers, learn to do the double-high-beam flash for trucky. Will make for a much smoother driving experience altogether. Also, if trucky passes you, double-flash him when he’s got enough room in front of you to return to the right-hand lane.

I mean, did he even say Wibble?

i was thinking how hard it would be to get one of those isuzu box trucks, and transform that into an RV. Enough places to put the various tanks, and enough height in the box for a 6ft6er.

i had a kite / sail that was modeled after the NPW5 - that was pretty fun. Pulled me across the beach, a couple times. A beast though to keep its shape in the wind when turning. The wires needed to be -perfect-, which i’m sure they weren’t.

But apart from you, did _everyone else_ do this as well? No? Well, therein lies the problem.
