“See, your honor, he moved his lips too much right before he was hit by the other car. So he was distracted, and should not be allowed to claim health insurance in our name.”

New trim level unlocked: Ultimate Platinum. The only added feature on top of all the other features is to switch it all off.

It’s Thursday 22nd of August, 2024 in my timezone...

Oof. Clarkson, 64 years old, looking like that... Reverse Portrait of Dorian Gray vibes :D

Am out there daily-ing a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee ecodiesel. Now at 155k. Apart from the recalls and one broken radio, nothing wrong with it. Just keep feeding it clean diesel (without the bio in it...)

It’s on TCM in rotation this month; Eve Marie Saint is the Star of the Month; i think it’s also streamable from tcm.com

The ‘15 Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel’s bill from the dealer is often around $250 - filter, and quarts of the prescribed synthetic oil. Not just any, but a specific one (5w-40 i think). Am driving that car so often, that i know / feel / hear that the dealer has put the wrong oil in. The mileage also suffers from that.

Couple of Kwik Trips and one i think Road Ranger - N IL and SW WI have them combined, and the outside ones are big nozzle, the insides are regular nozzle.

Exception is diesel, though. The outside diesel nozzles are often for the big cargo trucks and stuff. The nozzle doesn’t fit a standard diesel car. So you do have to wait for the inside spots to open up. At ‘new’ gas stations (that i’ve not visited before) i often hop in and ask the attendant which of the diesel pumps

Air is free in WI, so even less of an excuse to block.

Loved the Picasso. Purple/pink, removable seats, diesel, what’s not to like! That car chugged us along for a good couple of years. No regerts!

I’d love these types of trucks, but with my ‘15 WK2 EcoDiesel, i’m getting 7200 lbs. So 6,000 won’t cut it. 7200 is enough for what I need to do. Don’t want to go half or 3/4 ton yet :-(

Lawyer: yes, for the single run of the 2021 model, these are rare. The 2023 production is also a limited run. And the simplest difference is that there’s now a 2021 limited run, and a 2023 limited run. No more 2021 limited models being released. And nowhere does it say that after the 2021 limited run, no more limited

It’s a good start. And a start is all it needs.

Yes it is. Gotta start somewhere to make people aware, to make improvements.

Not an excuse. Then improvements will never happen. Start somewhere. This $11m moth light will be a good start, having that light pollution gone.

His name was Ian Dury - without the first ‘r’.

Iteration?

And now, for something completely different...
