This year we went for it. A proper RV trailer. Towable by the ecodiesel wk2, but sitting in our own little slice of heaven, looking out over the Mississippi river valley. We finally can be there every.weekend.

Paddle shifters? Love them on the Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 ecodiesel. Blip-blip, overtake; blip-blip brake using the engine, and so on. Not used to get the optimum shift point or anything, but it’s just part of driving smoothly in busy-ish traffic.

Wow. our old JS35 blew the rear axle, so while waiting for a replacement bought the Ego with the 10Ah battery. That thing would not last for a 0.3 acre backyard :-(

Yeah, that style tent is amazing. Last year bought a ice fishing tent like that, will be using that along side the trailer we just bought. Bought a small stove, stove pipe through a flap, and let the snow camping commence :-)

Yup, it was one of those spiels the RV dealer performs, but i think this product shows that it’s pretty much true. But, with a price to match, i’m sure :-/

The GrandDesign trailer we bought is so far pretty much without issues that i can spot. One fit-n-finish item (something not properly lined up, easy fix myself) and one warranty item (outside speaker [who needs that shit anyways?!]). Other than that, everything works, has been working for the last 6 months.

We’ve been able to postpone camping at / attending the Indy 500 for 2 years now, looking forward to next year’s running. From the messaging from IMS it sounds like 2021 was the last year you could get credit for the next running.

No, of course not. Not like we’ll be going into space soon and then these units really become important? Psh.

From what i’ve seen is that they did a good job advertising the various public transport, hired buses, and parking lots further out. But yeah, i’m sure the Dutchies will be trying to park as close to the track, because it’s their goddamn right!
