In my 2015 JGC WK2 the main screen has an ‘off’ button, but it still glows, and still your eyes are drawn to it. Very annoying.

About mid-April we received an email from IMS asking us if we would show up for this year’s running. Last year we received full credit for both the race day tickets and our 4-day camping tickets; was going to be the same for this season.

In general when i hit 3/4 empty. My 06 wrangler does about 15mpg rain or shine, and won’t get more than 180 miles out of that 3/4.

Last year we were able to get credit for the tickets and camping we normally do around race day. This year again an email went out with a q from the organizers if we would show up, or would want another credit. We opted for the credit again. While fully vaccinated, we gonna sit this one out :-/

Didnt one of these become a toll road couple years ago? I remember from Chicagoland going South all of the sudden one of the big bridges became a toll road overnight (i think new years’ eve)

Woodman’s for the win. Liquor store has a very good selection, and prices are reasonable. I can’t shop at targets, walmarts and jewels, the selection is just not right (don’t need brands!) and am so happy to have a Woodman’s nearby!

Ha, that topping off oil sounds like how I limped back from SW WI to Chicagoland (a good 250 miles) - being able to hit gas station after gas station to fill up a tire that would deflate within 20 mins... Car was loaded up with bunch of stuff, and had a hitch tray with stuff on it, didn’t want to unload all that stuff…
