Dingbat.

Drove the 2014 for about 5 years, not a bad car. Jade Green paint and Tan interior. Teething issues were quickly resolved (looking at you, floppy driver-side sun visor!), but never anything major.

I do like that brown one with the 80s striping. Nice color combinations. When do we get our two-tone Outback again? It’s in the Constitution...

06 LJ soft top, stick shift, Rubicon, stock height for the win!

>Outright bans on manufacturing and selling ICE cars is stupid, anti-consumer, and frankly, anti-democratic.

Big nope.

Nostalgia was so much better, back then!

Yeah, last time waffled some leftover stuffing and turkey, served it with a dollop of cranberry sauce. Just gotta leave it waffling for longer than 2 mins or so. I think the ideal crunch vs burnt ratio was about 5-6 mins for me :-)

That’s may have been the reboot you read. 20,000 Leagues is the original one.

Driving a 2015 WK2 ecodiesel Overland. One of the better cars driven, for what we’re currently doing (tent camping in remote-ish places, long road trips, sometimes towing something). Can’t wait to try out the three-row, once this diesel hits some imaginary mileage number where we no longer want to drive it.

What brand is the best gateway drug to start this? There are probably a number of cars, if i think about it, that may be nice enough to sit in a living room / work room to every now and then look at. Photos don’t do them justice.

I burp a lot after drinking some pop. And like to drink seltzer water. I’m really wondering why I’m not showing up on graphs showing increase of CO2 in my area...

Hm, same here. did not notice Stef’s story, while having been actively reading this site the last week or so... Some A/B testing shenanigans?

Uhm, 6ft6 husky here... It’s good to have dreams. But, don’t spoil this particular dream by trying to make it reality. I tried. Difficult to Copen with it, even after 10 yrs.

38 years later, people are still using checks in the US. The documentary “Catch me if you can” shows that check fraud existed at least since 1963, so that’s roughly 57 years earlier than today...

Uhm, for 6 months our household was safe. T-giving stopped by, gf from kid#1 popped over to parents, who were also unannounced having another couple people over. GF went along, turned out her mom and pop were covid-positive, so kid#1 also got covid. They immediately isolated, so the rest of the household is still safe.

Hate it, hate it, hate it. Wish that can be switched off.
