I Have No Mustache And I Must Scream

So very true. Regardless of what it is, some people seem dead set on trying to browbeat others into accepting their opinion as the only possible option.

I really REALLY hope he gets another solo Superman movie with a different director. He’s got all of the acting skills and charm to pull off reporter Clark, the real Clark, and Superman, but Snyder forced him to be broody moody.

I certainly did not like BvS, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with you (and others) liking it. I think people are a little too caught up in trying to convince people they are wrong — there is no right or wrong here... either you liked it or you didn’t.

1. Cheers to Henry Cavil for his candor- it can be in short supply.

Fingers crossed. I only saw BvS about 2-3 weeks ago, and enjoyed it (*gasp*), but understand that there’s a lot of unease among other fans with the direction these movies have gone thus far. I’m hoping that Justice League, with its rewrites, will build off of what Wonder Woman brought to the table. I certainly want

I loved it for precisely the reasons so many don’t—it was slow at times, allowing me to appreciate the environment (rather than, like so many action films, pass quickly from one flashy, but hollow CG room to the next over and over again); and if there was one thing I feared more than anything leading into this film,

Film Noir will always have -an- audience, but the movie-going populous at large just isn’t into that genre right now. Ghost in the Shell was a harbinger to that realization.

I can’t imagine the initial theater version being a two-part, 4 hour production. But I can easily see this extended-extended cut as a special item sold to fans of the movie. And I can also see how a passionate artiste in love with his creation and given enough power and resources would think a 4 hour run time was a

The thing is, in this series, Maximus is on the right side. A number of people have already pointed out that this show is about a family of royals struggling to hold onto their xenophobic society’s rigid caste system that penalizes anyone who doesn’t win the genetic lottery.

Maximus betrayed his family, but they’re a

Every person from Attilan comes off as a righteous douche. I have no idea who the heroes are supposed to be.

Yeah the dude clearly fine in his suit so what was the fucking problem? If Black Bolt can learn to shut up, Mortis can learn to wear helmets constantly.

I genuinely love LoT because it embraces the absolute bonkers nature of comics. None of this shit makes any sense! It’s weird and crazy! Let it be weird and crazy! Agents of Yawn and Inhumans feel way too much like the rest of everything on ABC, and that’s why they can’t really work. The CW is the perfect network for

I keep looking for reasons to warm up to these characters, and the past couple of episodes I was starting to like to Karnak (Ken Leung is always reliably great), but I found the treatment of Mordis off-putting. Like, he’s one of their own, and instead of trying to find a place for him in their society, they just want

Ok... Am I the only one enjoying Inhumans? I’m really struggling to figure out what’s so *bad* about it. And another thing, I actually did go see it in Imax and I got exactly what I expected. I had no delusions that it was going to be a “mega-budget blockbuster,” that’s absurd.

I’m in Honolulu so feel like I have to support it as a local production. I’m actually having a lot of fun watching it, but I would never tell anyone it’s “good.”

I don’t even mind the shoddy production quality but the writing... my god, the writing... I guess now we know what it looks like if you try to make a show with absolutely no likable or interesting characters. The only bright spot in the show is the comedy of Karnak being a total idiot at all times while shouting to

Inhumans is a terrible property to adapt to live action. Between the dog, Medusa’s hair, the one’s legs, and a main character that doesn’t fucking talk, it’s all around a bad idea. If they wanted to do Inhumans, they should have let Pixar tackle it.

The Inhumans is a great property to adapt to the big screen. Just spend more than thirty seven cents on it, and realize that you must embrace what makes them unique (their off-putting alienness and coolness) rather than run away from it. Marvel is successful when it embraces the characters’ core elements. Captain
