That was ugly. That was an anti-deportation rally. If Bernie never existed, HRC and Obama would still have these groups protesting them and angry. Trump would, too, if he ever was willing to go to a place like East L.A.

That was the beginning of Cher’s acting career. I hope she knows she proved them all wrong.

I remember Cher saying she went to the theater to see the trailer for Silkwood and she said everyone laughed when she was listed as one of the actors. It made her cry.

Seriously. Good for her.

The best part is it doesn’t hurt as bad (and sometimes at all) when you are judged harshly for being “different”.
