I was just sneaky. Didn’t want the attention or the confrontation. I still did mostly whatever I pleased, just didn’t let my parents know or need their approval. 100% under the radar. Thinking back, yikes, especially of the dangerous situations I luckily got out of that they never knew about.

I don’t think we really did. I heard a friend of mine talk about this and respect, etc. and I also know that she got in a fist fight with her mother when she was 14. A roll around on the floor fight. And she talks about how kids now don’t seem to have respect for adults, etc...

Sometimes all it takes is one bad egg, a really strong one, to set a group up to do bad stuff. But I’m still not feeling that forgiving of the followers that went over the line.

I only call my sister, who I love to talk to, when I know she’s driving home. At work, she can’t talk, at home, with little kids, husband, etc. it just doesn’t have the same feel, there are constant interruptions and she’s distracted. I’m glad I know when she commutes.
