The first time I saw the WWI series, way, way, long ago when the world was new, my daughter and I were stunned and in tears by the end of the finale. I showed it to a friend just a few weeks ago, after having seen it approximately one million times, and again, tears. Brilliant job, boys.

Where did you get this? I remember Atkinson being interviewed, and when questioned about "b" words, he said he just enjoyed saying them, hence their prevalence in the BA series.

No, no, no. She's just having an off night.

That's right (the Winterfell/Bolton part). I remember now. What's embarrassing is that I just re-watched the whole 5th season, finishing up last night. And I still couldn't remember.

Why? (and thanks) Also, how did those Sand Snakes get on the boat? They were last seen with Ellaria on the dock in Dorne.

I can't remember where we left Petyr Baelish. He was in King's Landing after Cersei sent for him, but do we know where he went to? Is he still there? Last seen with the Queen of Thorns?

It's been interesting listening to Hugh Laurie on the talk show circuit (for The Night Manager) talking about how extraordinary Julia Louis-Dreyfus is. He said he'd do anything just to stand there and watch her work. Quite a recommendation.

These two comments are very funny.

Great. More lip prints all over the TV.

While I'm not all that wild about Howard's End, the film, because I love the book so much, the casting is absolutely perfect, top to bottom, and picturing them actually adds to the richness of the book.

I really liked this show. Apparently, HBO did not care.

Sadly, nobody shot her.

I tried to find something to stream this evening, but the John Stamos thing was so awful I ducked out right away. It would be a bad idea with an appealing actor, but Stamos, emphatically, is no such thing.

Please stop pretending you know that law. Literally nothing you said here is correct.

It must have been a bacterial infection, then, not a virus. But it definitely was not no stinking transplant!!

Bobby Simone didn't die of complications from a heart transplant!!! He didn't have any surgery at all!! He just got a weird virus that infected his heart, and he went from feeling unwell to being at death's door in about 4 episodes, if I recall correctly.

I like time jumps that keep in time with human time. Otherwise you're always having Christmas in July.

At first I was expecting the opening scene to break out and reveal itself as a dream or fantasy sequence in Alex's head. A small note: Did Bridget leave the set of Girls and stroll over to Togetherness in order to do Amanda Peet's mid-episode makeup?? The lip liner was the least of it, and it was flat brown.

That is a reiteration, not an explanation, but never mind. I'm bored now.

I know what lawyers are like, but it is still jarring to think of Barry Scheck, who has gone on to such important work with the Innocence Project, being so amoral as we saw in this episode.
