I totally don't remember that reveal. I think it was heavily hinted (or outright shown) that Tristan's mother was the slave girl, but I don't think we were given anything about her origins until the end of the film.

Now, that is a seriously deep cut. I love it!
"Much Ado" is free on Amazon Streaming if you've got Prime, and available to rent for like $3 if you don't. It's worth watching. I, for one, definitely enjoyed seeing all the Whedon regulars Shakespeare around with one another.
Right? I mean, enough with the thigh gap, already! Hah.
Quick question . . . are you in the States? I'm dying to see the new season of Ripper Street, but it doesn't seem to be airing here yet. Do you know something I don't, or are you simply across the Pond? (Not currently able to torrent stuff due to hardware limitations/overwhelming sense of guilt when it comes to…
I'm not one to scream about spoilers, but. . . spoilers, man. Black Mirror has been out for less than 24 hours!
What happens? According to The Doctor, this . . .
Sorry for replying to a week old post, but I just watched the episode and am now reading the recap. Just curious. . . what exactly are you talking about with Shane? I don't recall anything about him being sick or infected or anything. Are you speaking metaphorically or am I simply forgetting stuff?
That threw me too. I wrote it off as a weird British/American pronunciation thing, but I think I was being generous.
I get why X/0 is undefined, but could a math person explain to me why 0/0 is not simply 0?
Not sure why you think that, but it's not correct. http://www.slate.com/articles/healt…
Both "dove" and "dived" are correct. Grammar lesson of the day!
Just curious . . . where do you see a connection between those shootings (Sandy Hook, etc.) and the title All You Need Is Kill? Is it just the obvious? Or is there something specific that I'm just not seeing?
What an incredibly snobbish attitude! There are plenty of "grownups" who enjoy a trip to the movies. Watching a film alongside a theater's worth of people is a uniquely communal experience that just can't be replicated at home.
"que sera sera" . . . español, amigo. :-)
Hah! What a perfectly bitchy (and accurate) comment. I think I'm in love....
Wow, I expected that to be some sort of tentacle porn (Internet comedy websites have taught me that 95% of all animé is tenacle porn.... hah.)
Either negokami lives in "DARE World" (which, for the record, is a hilarious concept) or he/she is him/herself menacing the sidewalks of Seattle with bad dope. 'Cause I count at least five posts ranting about the dangers of mystery pot — seems a tad obsessive/suspicious, if you ask me. ;-)
Hey, thanks for your well reasoned and polite response and I apologize for my original bitchy reply. It was a knee jerk reaction to what I (wrongly perhaps) perceived to be intellectual snobbery.
