I think fondants is gross and is the laziest way to decorate a cake. And it tastes awful. I love old fashioned cakes frosted with delicious buttercream with sugar flowers and intricate piping. Sorry fondant lovers, not on my table.

Nothing surprises me anymore after I heard they no longer schedule early class start times (before 8AM), because students have trouble waking up.
