Was that a Mary Boleyn reference?

I took it the same way, but after reading the entire piece, I think it was just an honest attempt to clarify how reclusive the two were, and how singularly they clung to each other rather than reach out to anyone on the outside. A lot of women and men remain single and childless, but still have what is perceived as a

Yeah ... especially south Georgia.

I know this has nothing to do with anything, but I have to give mad props to whoever selected that picture to go with this story. It's absolutely perfect. I can't stop giggling.

Oh, I realize she's touched up. I mostly meant that she seems like a very gracious woman with a good sense of humor and a realistic view of herself (and she is also gorgeous, touch up or no touch up!). And I also have zero problem with plastic surgery ... whatever works for whatever individual woman!

I think (or more accurately I'm assuming) a lot of that had to do with Miranda Priestly = Anna Wintour.

Oh, she looks gorgeous. I think I'll actually buy this issue. I hope I can be like her and other women like Helen Mirren and Diane Keaton as I grow older.

Yeah, I think jumping on both Jessica Simpson and Weight Watchers is pretty unfair. Many mothers worry about losing baby weight, and many overweight people (mothers or not) use Weight Watchers, which like you said is sensible.

I think my mom tried to use laundry to trick me into coming home every weekend, but my boyfriend ended up showing me how to do it.

Ha, I'm an only, too! And I'm with you — I definitely had stuff to do around the house. Laundry just never made the list.

All I got from this is that I really want some Whataburger for lunch, now.

I didn't know how to wash clothes until college. Thanks, Jezebel.

Ah, see, I didn't know that about Target. That's even worse.

First of all, you didn't read my entire comment, because I did mention that yes, there are some bullies who are just assholes (I called them shitheads, but the sentiment is the same).

Here's the thing about these anti-bullying messages (in general, not speaking to this specific case): They only have concern for the victim. Bullies, particularly younger children, are not bullies just because they are mean people. There is often some underlying reason. When I think back to two people who bullied me

As someone who takes Black Friday seriously, my personal preference would be to stay up until 11 p.m., get the shopping done, and be home by 1 a.m. It definitely beats waking up early. If retailers just did that, and then closed Friday for their employees (or had shortened hours for employees), then I don't really see

I agree. I don't think anyone has to, or should be made to feel like they have to, discuss how they got pregnant. But it would be really nice if some of these more high-profile mothers did. They don't have to go into detail, but just an acknowledgement would be nice.

I kinda sorta like the blue dress, but I can't think of where I could actually wear any of those shown dresses.

There's nothing wrong with shows as joke-delivery vehicles ... I mean, that's basically all The Golden Girls was (or at least, was intended to be), and it's generally regarded as one of the better sitcoms.

I do have that song in my iTunes, which I'm only admitting here because I'm anonymous.
