It was really uncomfortable to watch this as an Asian person. However, I don't think "million exploding suns" is racist or stereotypical. I know that the Sentry from Marvel was said to possess the power of a thousand exploding suns. And he white without any trace of orientalism.

I hate admitting this, but there were a few times in my life where I wish I was white because I felt that my life would be easier. But for the most part, I never felt that my skin color was ugly. I loved my brown skin and hated society's hate for brown skin.
