Also of note, Howard was founded in 1867. It's one of the oldest HBC's in the country. It is something that most should know if you are from the US and especially the DC area but I wouldn't expect anyone outside of the US to figure that out.
If you don't know that Howard University which is almost one-hundred fifty damn years old is an HBC that is that has been their neighbor for god knows how many years AND can't source one image of a non-white then they need to get out of the business.
There are historically black colleges and universities in the U.S., established when schools were segregated and black students were not allowed to attend white institutions. Many still exist (Morehouse, Tuskegee, Spelman, Grambling) though they admit all races. It's not unlike having same sex schools.

They had time to write Howard University on the ad. They had time to figure out who their target audience is.
I am so upset that this stock photograph a grocery store chain used in hundreds of bland advertisements didn't change for one particular school. It's almost as if when some intern retyped various names of colleges over and over they didn't stop to think about Howard or its values.

Fine - not all Black people look younger than they are. And of course, Black people can have acne or other skin problems. But is very common for us to look younger than paler people of the same age, and to just look younger in general. Melanin does that for us. And I, for one, quite enjoy it.

Why don't they keep them at the prison and let the inmates take care of them? I've heard other stories of prisons getting pets and it being very good therapy for the inmates by giving them responsibility for another life.
