Where as I was just starting to read usenet news as a twelve year old in 92/93. I'm definitely not a millennial but I spent a lot of my teen years online, one way or another.
Also my parents used to eat avocado toast (avocado gets super cheap at certain times of the year here), I wasn't a fan at the time…
New Zealand's Burger Fuel chain has an OK fish(fush) burger
Had a pretty similar experience in semi-rural Spain when a fellow diner asked if a pasta dish was "sin carne" and then found that it came out decorated with a lot of tiny crabs…
It's not his beliefs so much as how he arrives at them which kills any interest in watching or listening to him.
Usually I would agree with you but not now.
Also malai kofta (cheese dumplings in cream sauce…so damn good even if it does drift you closer to heart attacksville).
I'm really confused, is there some weird post-apology ritual in the US where the penitent have to consume acid or be pelted with rabid monkeys or something?
I don't think people realise just how genuinely close the world was to a complete and total financial collapse in 2008, I'm talking hours away.
I feel a strong need at this point to restate my (probably ludicrous) theory that Cyril is going to turn out to be Archer's father as a result of time travel gone terribly wrong.
1) Steven and Greg Universe (and the rest of the gems and Steven as well of course). Greg loves his son, doesn't necessarily understand him, wishes he could stay safely at home but loves him anyway and gives Steven the freedom to do what he needs to do.
Really? Cause I can think of a number of European minorities who aren't all that "relaxed" or respected (the Basque especially spring to mind).
I've got a clear line for you…
If being a part of that culture is stopping real people from getting jobs
(as with NZ employers refusing to employ people wearing Ta Moko

) then it's probably not ideal to make a costume of it…
Sex work (both engaging in it and paying for it) has been legal in New Zealand since 2003 and there haven't been any obvious negative side-effects.
Ugh, we're watching an acquaintance drift that way as well, it's ugly to watch. I'm sorry you're going through it.
Edited to add…spoilers massive massive spoilers
At least one season had all 3 competitors turning out truly amazing showstoppers (like there was pretty much nothing between the three of them in terms of sheer awesomeness) but only one of them had done well in the other 2 rounds and that person won.
The elimination/star baker decision is made on the basis of all three rounds. Often (especially early in the competition) you will see someoe up for elimination saved on the grounds of of having a reallygood technical or signature round. Even in the finale the first two rounds contribute to the judgingg.
I actually thought they did wonderfully on their cakes (which are after all the biggest part of the finale).
I was once on a jury where the police/prosecutors attempted to try and convince us that that their video evidence showed a person walking into a building with a bowl of meth.
