Objectifying someone is completely wrong, but it’s not inherently sexist. Just as not giving some white guy a job or non inviting a rich kid into a team. All those actions are wrong and should be definitely avoided. But they’re not sexist/racist/classist.

Except there’s no actual sexism happening here. He’d like to be praised more for his acting ability and less for his looks - fair enough. But don’t use that fact to minimize how women are disproportionately objectified.

It’s kinda like a white person saying they’ve experienced racism before. It’s not that their experience is irrelevant or comical (it isn't to me, anyway), it’s just that it’s such a drop in the bucket compared to what others have to deal with for life.
