There was an early episode of Brooklyn 99 where Terry had to fill in for the police sketch artist and Terry Crews actually drew the sketches. I heard him interviewed about it and he said his mom was so excited because people would finally get to see his art. I love him.

Have you heard John Mulaney’s bit about the “horse loose in a hospital”?

I hadn’t heard of it either! I kind of stumbled upon it when I had an urge to go to the movies one weekend (read: was craving popcorn with fake butter). I was intrigued by the premise. Cut to: one of the best moviegoing experiences I’ve ever had in one of San Francisco’s tinier theatres. I don’t think any of us in

The only movie I cared about last year was the documentary Bathtubs Over Broadway which no one else saw. Please, anyone: seek it out so we can gush about how delightful it is.

I had medium expectations for Sex Education but I wound up loving it sooooooo much.

Love her (Anderson, not Thatcher).

I apologize for this being so completely unrelated but...Petaluma?

I’m so glad I don’t have to explain to people who Olivia Colman is as much lately. I’ve adored her for a while.

I wish this movie was better because Don Shirley deserves it. He was amazingly talented and had a really interesting life.

I feel like I should have heard of this before now. Why isn’t everyone talking about it still? Amazing.

From the director of Get Out comes...Move In.

Imagine the moving lip sync to “Wind Beneath My Wings.” MISSED OPPORTUNITY.

Nothing against The X-Files (except for much of Seasons 8-11 which I mostly try to pretend never happened) but she’s been so good in a crazy range of things since that show ended. I don’t feel she’s underrated necessarily but maybe underappreciated is a better word? Anyway, she’s a delight and should be in more things.

Fozzie Bear did it first and better. “If you put enough sugar in this stuff, it tastes like ginger ale!”
