Did you ever watch those old I Love the 80s shows on VH1 back in the early 00s? Mark McGrath comes off as a surprisingly delightful dude. It weirded me out at first, but then I just went with it.

The Office finale makes me so happy even though I know full-well nothing that happens in it was earned.

Mark didn’t bother me and he had a few moments (“Yesterday one of those pigeons took a shit on me, and I was indoors, so.”) but I didn’t miss him when he left. He was too low-key for Pawnee.

YES! I started watching both of those shows when I was sick with pneumonia. Laughing hurt, but it was worth it.

The goodness on display in Parks & Rec makes me want to foster kittens.

I can appreciate some of Season 1 in retrospect, but that’s only after I came to love most of the rest of the series. There’s no reason not to skip it and start with Season 2 (except maybe make an exception for the last episode of Season 1—“Rock Show” is pretty fun).

I reached peak levels of cynicism in middle school when it came out. I hated it then and I hate it now. I didn’t think Leonardo diCaprio was cute anyway.

But Ann Perkins is a beautiful tropical fish!

As soon as they dropped the original cougar premise and just decided to focus on wine-drinking shenanigans with the cul de sac crew, I was fully on board.

They’re just pizza that’s harder to eat.

It’s a hard life trying to convince people that Cougar Town is great despite the title. I was just as surprised as you would be, people!

“I love you and I like you” is so simple and perfect.

Your story is my story. I remember getting my parents to play it during dinner one night and realizing my mistake as soon as “This Is How It Works” came on.

Most excellent use of a musical cue.

Seven minutes of joy here. I love when he grabs the guy at the one minute mark who looks like he’s just been waiting to join in on the fun.

This is the most random thing, but her sister-in-law officiated my aunt’s wedding a few years ago. She was super cool and hilarious and when I foolishly asked her if JLD was also super cool and hilarious in real life, she said yes, she’s the best. Just a good, normal person who happens to be famous.

*wipes tear from eye*

Yeah. As much as I hope anyone who’s done wrong is exposed, a small part of me worries some of my favorites may fall under that umbrella.

That whole run is spectacular.
