"I started ending the Vietnam War, and Gerald Ford finished it!"-Nixon '75.

Objective fact: Reagan was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 1996, eight years (roughly) after he left the Presidency. There have been vague rumors for years that he was starting to suffer some of the effects in his second term, but his aides etc. insist it's not true. Personally I think six years is a long time to be

:-)

Well, this is the first episode where the guy playing Jay/Hunter really appealed to me.

Yeah, I don't get how this is a mystery? I suppose it could be not really him, but it seems like an awfully big thing to ignore completely.

*Frederick Douglass.* Double-s.

I forgot revenge over all my enemies! Okay, I want revenge on all my enemies, they should die like pigs in Hell.

And the person who's pretty much responsible for all of this shit in the first place, Littlefinger, hasn't had the tiniest bit of comeuppance.

The sad thing is, I always recognize him as "Jack" from the Whoopi Goldberg spy comedy* "Jumping Jack Flash."

I was honestly teary-eyed.

The show really lost something when Tywin died. I loved him so much.

Tywin was awesome.

"Imagine if Joffrey spent three episodes having his fingernails pulled off with pliers; when would you say "ok, just end it already?""

I'm kind of disappointed that they didn't follow up on the "Alex and Malcolm have amazing chemistry," thing and have them start dating. Obviously he's the villain and all, but wouldn't it have been a lot more interesting if they'd played up the sort-of attraction the two seemed to have for each other, and had them

The book (on which the series is based?) is really dark and depressing; when I first watched the show (after it was released on video[!] in the US) I had to convince my brother to give it a try, because he'd read the book and thought a show made from it couldn't possibly be fun to watch.

That song has always given me the supercreeps. I'm not sure why I seem to be the only person who finds it horrifying and depressing, but I totally do.

God, that really is heartbreaking. Wow.

No comments? Am I really the only person here who listens to garage and knows who these guys are? Inconceivable!

First thought I had. "She shouldn't be in a hot tub!"

It's not a very good movie, but it's interesting on a historical/real-life level, anyway (it's based on a true story, and in real life Adam Horovitz—from the Beastie Boys—was one of the kids.)
