You know, grammar and vocabulary don't make up for the failure to use those tools to effectively communicate.

I've had that thought about the sniper rifle, too. If Simpson is so set on killing Kilgrave, he could/should have easily done it by now in just that fashion. All this kidnapping or bomb nonsense is exactly that: nonsense.

It's pretty hilarious to ask them anything about South America, too, or if they know even a word of Spanish.

I like Will quite a bit, actually, and I think so far he's been valuable and fun as an addition to the show. But he kind of lost me in this ep and the one preceding it. His insistence that Kilgrave be killed is understandable to a point (or rather, his desire to do so is understandable) but he's not that stupid; he

Heh, I said to my husband that I would totally watch that buddy-cop show, if they made one.

I really like Will, myself, but wasn't crazy about him in this ep. He seemed a bit smarter and more nuanced previously; I'm not sure how or why he's gone from "No, you need a plan, you need to think this all out carefully," to "I'll just do a reckless and irrational thing that could hurt innocent people*! Cool,

Ha!

See, I had that thought, too, but they showed her feet sliding on the ground, which I took to mean that if she'd had something to brace herself against she'd have been strong enough to stop him.

I agree that they handled it well and appreciated that there wasn't some big moral dilemma, but that research (assuming you're discussing the study published this summer) was/is seriously flawed and goes against the majority of previous studies.

I really thought Jessica might be able to get away with not telling Luke—as in, he'd understand why when he found out, not that she could get away with never telling him—right up to the moment when she said that bit about how does he know the evidence this woman has is real, and maybe she's trying to fool him (or

Me, too. :-) It reminds me how awesome people can be. You are awesome.

Rest easy, friend. You did indeed hallucinate it. It seems someone who hated the Godfather movies and the characters within did film a really bad Kay Corleone fanfic around 1990 or so, probably as a student project, but that doesn't count at all. Not one bit.

Three small onions isn't too much. Not with two cans of tomatoes, two big cans.

Godfather 3? Sorry, but they never made a third Godfather movie. It doesn't exist!

Janice Poon, who handled the food for the show, does a blog where she gives the recipes (she doesn't use human meat, of course).

That brisket looks amazing.

Did you know that Mads Mikkelson actually did that trick where he drops an egg on the blade of his knife to break it?

Oh, yeah, Goodfellas is full of scenes that make me hungry; not only the prison dinners (although that is the worst, as far as hunger) but when Henry gets out, they head to Paulie's and there's a close-up of an amazing platter full of pasta.

Or the several people he's killed so far this season.

I don't think they skipped the purple skin because it would be "too silly," I think it was because a man with purple skin is really fucking conspicuous, and it would be hard for anyone to doubt his existence if there were lots of rumors flying around about people seeing a guy with purple skin strolling around the
