I somewhat agree with ESRB’s point, but feel like card games aren’t as off-balance as video games with micro-transactions. Latter tries to pressure people more to buy them by giving players that do a substantial advantages over others or artificially slowing EX growth rate to force you to do tedious grind or pay. In

Says the guy pretentious enough to use the word (that he clearly found under thesaurus synonyms) “modicum.” XD

John Carpenter looks like he’s doing a Revolver Ocelot cosplay from MGS4 in this photo. Just saying.

Wow, do you work for their PR department? XD I thought your hands would already be occupied banning anyone with remote creative criticism on AoM from discussing it on official forums. Though I guess there wasn’t much chatter to regulate to begin with. I know that popular rumor certainly turned off a lot of potential

Another indicator of how bad it sold is 1st month sales published by NPR. Normally a game has highest amount of sales in 1st month of release. AoM didn’t even rank in the top #15 best selling games of August. The UC Lost Legacy DLC that came out a week later earned #3 spot. Ouch. Not surprised. Dev’s seems overly

I still don’t get why the internet is freaking out so much over this. It is not arousing to the majority of women to see a fat (noi but Mario’s not in the best shape) short Italian guy with his shirt off. Plus, it seems to be mostly men (that I’ve seen at least) freaking out over it oddly enough. I feel bad for the

Not surprised. I wanted to like this game since I’m a fan of Borderlands and so many people online were hating it with comparisons to Overwatch and joking it was going to bomb in sales from the poor timing, but Battleborn was just so awful, I couldn’t. Just hoping the poor production on that game doesn’t badly affect

A free mod to get rid of the ad for paid mods? I love the irony.

If you think this is bad, you should see what happens to Aloy in shaded cold areas of Horizon Zero Dawn. Her eyes get glassy and white, and her skin turns blue. Sometimes she gets a black crack down her face. It is super creepy to see.

Where did you get the screenshots used in this article? I’m guessing, considering there’s no attribution, that you took them. I know it’s a small thing, but just curious. If you could respond, that would be nice.

I thought part of the reason people were pissed was because you have to maintain an internet connection in a SINGLE-PLAYER game for the “optional” micro-transactions. Which is insane, I seriously hate this trend. They should just maintain a player wallet balance on their server if they want to prevent players trying

Cool artworks. Ones of Ann are my favorites. Did any of them have dates (of when they were drawn) or certain artists names attached to them? Just curious.

Maybe, they’ve gotten more paranoid about cosplay after that one crazy guy used his punisher cosplay to smuggle in real weapons to PhxComic Con 2017 only two months ago. The story made national news and I heard from friends that the lines to get in there afterwards were a nightmare length from the newly added

This is just proof gamers are dying for a new Silent Hill game (that isn’t panchinko or mobile) or a spiritual successor similar to older Silent Hill games that were actually good.

It’s sad all these pitches sound more interesting than the final game was n.o.i i.m.o (my fav overall was approach 2. They all had some cool concept art and ideas though). I was looking forward to Prey (2017) since I enjoyed Dishonored (and love BioShock), but it found the Prey demo to be very generic, disappointing

BioWare’s in a tough position. You used to pander to straight male perverts (since they used to be the high majority of gamers), but then people complained in ME2 that they were pandering too much (by the only romance options being 95% for straight male or lesbian. Of course, I’m just as bothered by the fact as

O_o What’s wrong with Ike? He’s cool for the most part. Frankly, I wish list had more characters from FE before Awakening and Fates (when Nintendo started marketing them more heavily outside Japan) noi. Especially Radiant Dawn, like Lucia, Sothe, Jill, Titania and Skrimir.

I understand writers wanting to work part of themselves/experiences into their writing (as a writer, I think we all do that to extend, some a little more obvious than others, like who Sam Drake was supposed to be a “subtle” parody of...) but frankly, I play video games to be entertained, not preached at from liberal

You should fix the translation of his tweet. “Rude” makes it sounds like he might not like the perverted fan art. I saw alternate translation that used the word ridiculous and a clearer context that he wants the fan art to distribute aka market the game by creating a fake controversy (since it doesn’t look very good).
