PREACH. I’m in fashion and I find all of our seasons abhorrent. There is simply not a need to keep pushing shit out just go get new shit on the floor. It’s exhausting but also, the WASTE. The amount of carbon that goes into every aspect, from shipping goods, to producing samples. It makes me very upset.
Agree. Unfortunately, Anna Sui hasn’t really been noteworthy for a decade. And who really cares about Diane Von Furstenberg? She delivers the same shit every season. It’s like they walked for Kate Spade.
Beginning to miss that one writer on jezebel who actually knew her shit about fashion.
These comments are disgusting. Hood by Air is one of the FEW black designers out there. I find it despicable that Jezebel would choose to take down one of the only black designers that is gaining recognition. Only 12 out of the 470 members of the Council of Fashion Designers of America are black.
One thing that isn’t mentioned about Sprint’s plans is that they charge extra for smart phone service. Still. I think I pay an additional $10 a month per phone just because I have an iPhone.
yeah i am also curious. i work in the industry as well and have not found one major ethnicity nor community having a dominant hand....
Her appearance wasn’t that good. There are lots of guests who outshine the host and panel and she was definitely not one of them. She was by no means offensive but she didn’t ‘out-charm’ anyone!
Oh.
CAN WE TALK ABOUT DYLAN LAUREN. WAS IT “LET YOUR TODDLER DRESS YOU FOR THE MET GALA” DAY
It's like the exact same story right. Thought I was crazy!
Wasnt this covered in a This American Life episode?
I can't even with this comment.
She'd be so perfect. Witty, thinks quick on her feet, down to earth, hysterical, relatable, self deprecating, brilliant.... *sigh*
Aisha!!! When letterman announced his retirement, Aisha was the first person I thought of.
Thank you!
How about my personal anecdote living and working in NYC, I get cat-called maybe twice a week and I'm white. I don't think speaking from personal experience gives you the authority to determine who experiences what more. You're dismissing and derailing a conversation about race and street harassment because of a…
Maybe you find that hard to believe because you aren't a woman of color.
Well it would have been nice to have your fervor when arguing with him the other night! I was trying to say these things but get emotional, its hard to debate when you feel upset.
