*ha* Literally every one of my man friends is the sort who posts kitty photos on FB, with fair regularity. Yes, they are a little weird, being my friends and all, but IMHO cat dudes are gentle and kind, with a reasonable sense of humor and decent taste in music.

We did an outdoor thing with a specific "your presence is our present" line, as many family travelled to be with us. Rings, dress, and the whole deal was less than 3K. Including a 2 week trip with both of our kids. It was very cool, very us, and memorable to those who attended, even 16 years on.

I'm no expert at clothes, but I do follow fabric manufacturing. I understand that these clothes are made in the same factories from the same greige goods (fabric), the differences are in grading the finishes and the label that gets sewn in at the end. So essentially, you are right, they are the same.

my current favorite man panty is a white thong back with a cupcake on the front that says 'any day of the week'. srsly.

We call hamburger surprise "Animal Style" in my house. Whatever the garden gave up + rice + HB = dinner! Animal Style!

I think there's something to that. I did the same and am currently the parent of a teenager who cooks, prefers whole foods, and eschews fast food. And she talks about herself with pride, how different her palate is from her friends'. She is obsessed with Japanese cuisine lately, which has been fun to explore…

I just unloaded 6 tins of spaghetti-os, just by talking to a person. Like, face to face. Then, I handed them the bag of tins. It was amazing.
