If someone is so scared of being passed on escalators why don’t they use the elevators?

Stay to the right and shut the fuck up. It’s not a fucking amusement park ride. Some of us have trains to catch and places to be.

Standing to one side is a thing, not just “in our heads”, really not sure why this is such a big issue, let people walk if they want lol, noone is pushing people off the escalator so they can walk up it

“the real staircases that are available nearby 95% of the time” <- not in my experience.

“So this guy being involved in the drug game doesn’t undermine or invalidate his actions in the Guyger trial,” where, amazingly, his status as the biggest mary jane supplier south of the Denton County line NEVER ONCE CAME UP.

But there’s a difference between being in good shape and being able to run for any length of time at a respectable pace. I’ve met many gym rat lifters that wouldn’t be able to do a 1/4 mile without acting like they were having a heart attack.

I’ve died on this saucy hill before and I’ll gladly do it again — quit buying jars of tomato sauce! You have to boil the water to make the pasta, so let’s be honest: this isn’t a time issue. A can of crushed tomatoes, some olive oil, some freeze dried garlic and spices — these are all easy things to keep around. Just

Speaking as a trans person, I have not seen that it’s insulting to trans/NB folks. With that said, I’m not pan or bi, so my definitions will definitely be secondhand and not as reliable as coming straight from the source. One thing I will say is that there’s a difference between what I’ve heard people say (“I identify

I never once said I was unable. I am simply unwilling to bother explaining it to someone who clearly doesn’t care, to someone who isn’t having a conversation in good faith. That’s the difference. But that’s probably a little over your head, too.

It seems like you might have missed the mark here. The folks I know who ID as pan do so because they feel like the “bi” in bisexual implies that they are really only into folks in the binary, and that excludes trans folks who are nonbinary. While this show’s explanation of pansexuality may have implied that trans

I think there’s another consideration that Salty didn’t mention here and that’s the fact that this is in a town with a population of 20k. And yeah, not all smallish towns are the same, but in my experience, finding a good restaurant becomes increasingly difficult as the town size decreases. Now, 20k is large enough

Marc is an asshole who knows he shouldn’t be.

Essentially: “You are not allowed to talk about my art unless you are heaping glowing praise upon it.”

It’s such a great juxtaposition between Maron & Phillips- One guy, who spent decades failing until he succeeded, and looks at adverse response as an opportunity to hone & improve. The other guy is Todd Phillips.

There’s something really ironic about people who want to make edgy, provocative comedy and expect mainstream success and undivided acclaim for it.

It’s sort of like if nine out of ten medical experts told you to never bash in you skull with a hammer, they’d say “But what about that one who said it’s okay? I’m gonna trust him because he must know something the others don’t!”

At first I thought the "Hopelessly Partisan" thing was a gag, but then I zoomed in on the image, and by god it's right there. And then I chuckled. And then I realized that 40% of the country will believe it. And then I got a headache.

I literally just explained why. Vapers act like assholes and vape where they shouldn’t far more often than smokers. Nobody pulls out a cigarette in a restaurant or movie theater and just lights up. And even in places where they’re technically legally allowed but social norms discourage it, smokers generally at with

If a cigarette smoker has the audacity to fucking light up in the middle of a restaurant patio, then goddamn yes they deserve the same treatment.

My parents live on 71_1/2 street. It’s a nightmare. Sometimes you have to enter it 71 1/2 street, sometimes 71.5 street, sometimes 71st 1/2 street. Not just for ordering food, but for anything. It fucking sucks.
