Also, just because some businesses are lucrative, it doesn’t mean that everyone wants to be in them. Do you really want to be a landlord? (It is a world full of fucking chodes in bad suits.)

That is actually one of my complaints about the show, that they’ll marr a good idea with an incredibly annoying detail (like Cecily Strong going on about the little boy dick.)

At this point AVC’s hype for this show looks a lot like shilling. It’s...just ok at best. Way too many of the sketches revolve around one character acting like a jerk and creating an absurd conflict that then plays out for two minutes, and those “fighting” sketches are some of the highest on your list.

Serious question - I’ve been in Washington Heights for two years and I can’t figure out what I should be eating.  Don’t think I like mofongo.  Best thing I’ve found is actually Venezuelan cachapas.  If you wanted to turn somebody on to Dominican food, what would you give them?

One of my favorite gags on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend was when they went to “Vampire Weekend,” a camp-out where people sat around the fire and dressed all goth. The first time I heard the name I also thought it was some kind of festival or movement, not a band.

You guys are just making up sketches. 10 people have cited 10 different things, there can’t be that many!

Maybe next week she can weigh in on the ethics of outside food in a restaurant. You see, I tried to bring a starbucks cup into this diner I like, and they yelled at me, who is right?

Yeah, what this seems to mean is that one of these douchebags saw a Buttigieg interview and was, like, “Oh crap, look how likeable, normal, and smart he seems! And he’s a veteran!”  Targeting him first is a pretty big endorsement if you ask me.

The nut milk bag part bugs me but mason jar + brew tube is basically the same thing.  The tube insert is cheap and small and you can use the mason jar for all sorts of things.

That’s what was stupid about going electric. It’s niche in the city is for people who want to park in tiny spaces, in neighborhoods where it is difficult to park. But if you are parking on the street in the city you don’t have access to a charging station.

Yeah, the social studies curriculum should have red lines in it that you don’t cross, and anyone who does gets audited and observed within an inch of their lives. “Hitler wasn’t all bad” “People think the Civil War was about slavery, but really...” “Evolution is just a theory, it’s really very debatable.

So my friend likes Trump because Trump promises to fix all that. He’s just not savvy enough to realize that when Trump says he’s going to fix all that, he’s lying.

I was walking my dog the other day and someone had left a doggie bag filled with shit along the road. In other words, they had curbed their dog, but didn’t bother to complete the process.

A friend of the suspect told the FBI that he has seen Haviland’s views become “more extreme” as he grew angry about the treatment of Donald Trump by the media.

I’m going to go in the opposite direction from the prevailing advice here and recommend that you hold off smoking for now but periodically revisit the issue. Pick your moment (i.e. a relatively relaxed situation when you are already talking about random shit for an extended length of time.) State clearly that this is

Modern parking kiosks take credit cards, though.

Interestingly, it seems like NYC gave up on ticketing people for “feeding the meters” (i.e. staying in a metered spot for more than the max time) when they installed all those solar-powered doohickies that give you a slip of paper. They raised the price to the point where they make decent enough money (like $3.50 an

But they are though. I don’t really have that much patience for people who want to view unions as this 100% positive force in society. Like any institution they are imperfect and some are downright horrible. A union run by cops is pretty much going to be the worst thing you can imagine (and in NYC this is definitely

Oh no, I’m sure you aren’t misreading that - sounds exactly like a two-tiered concession. Unfortunately this seems really common in labor negotiations - contracts often protect the older, more established members at the expense of newbies.
