Maybe read the article?

I like how the New York Times ran a headline that subtly put the focus on the estate: “Michael Jackson Documentary Revives Lurid Claims, Imperiling His Thriving Estate.”

it had a phono port

That’s because the Academy only exists to celebrate the void.  We must give the void our statuettes or it will consume us all.

This is kind of interesting, though it really does suggest that using domestic and allied companies to build your communications infrastructure is actually pretty sensible. “Everybody spies, but you can trust us” isn’t really the best argument.

They could have gone with Black Panther, or The Favourite, or Roma—films new in perspective, angle, style, and/or release strategy. Even Vice, for its flaws, feels like a movie that speaks to the present. And A Star Is Born, at the very least, is built around the supernova charisma of a contemporary pop star.

It’s an old bit, too. Back in the day there was an anecdote about a character in a film who had one line in a foreign language, and it turned out to be “I am not being paid enough for this part.”

Yeah, it’s not really even that uncomfortable of a movie. It’s got people cheerfully fucking each other over and the queen is a needy, gross thing but there’s nothing actually shocking in there, IMO. It’s doesn’t go as far as The Lobster which did leave me a bit triggered.

This all happened because Moellendick has a fake ID that says “James Superstud” and the cop was charmed by it, remembering his own misspent youth.  He was going to let these two kids hang out with him all day.  Then he accidentally hit their fat friend with his car.

From what I know, all big cities has insane housing price...

But isn’t it more honorable to just live with your debilitating emotional scars that occurred through no fault of your own?  Why not just accept that your life is shitty?  Why not just go live in a cardboard box somewhere and leave everybody else alone?

The two tribes had sought to open a casino in Connecticut on reservation land...

Eh. This one was obviously suspicious from the get-go because of the “this is MAGA country” claim. Maybe it’s actually a bit harder to come up with a story that’s actually plausible.

They were holding hands, they were kissing as if nobody else existed

Like I said on another story, they could make his character do the same thing and have him act it out, law and order-style. Then he’s fired, and they’ve solved the problem of writing a plausible exit.

It’s obviously shot in the Netherlands studio where Bregman is sitting and talking, probably by an associate of Bregman. The studio itself may not even belong to Fox. They may have had an agreement that they could tape the interview so that it can’t be misrepresented.

Like... he states facts... watches as someone implodes or disputes them illogically and then restates facts.

My husband and I are the atheists in the family and it’s just mind-boggling that the “Christians” are throwing most of their morals and ideals into the fire just to gain some political ground for their agendas.

I just clicked on all of this to say noice t-shirt Don.
