How do you go from “George Bush doesn’t care about black people” to being a Donald Trump fanboy?

I agree! This discussion really made my day.

They would be quick to point it out, too.  I saw them during the W era, and Mark’s first words to the audience were something like “I’m feeling pretty devolved these days, how about you?”

There are clearly people in the world who practice radically different levels of home economics. If you live in the suburbs (where groceries are cheaper), plan meals for maximum efficiency and shop consistently at the cheapest outlet of course you will spend less than blue apron. But now that I’m an adult with money I

Being a narcissistic New Yorker, I’m always thrilled when a Tina Fey show makes a zinger that is really specific to the city.

No comments on a Savage Love column? This won’t end well. And by “this” I guess I mean Kinja.

Christ, what an asshole. I thought this detail was kind of funny, though:

I was actually in Wildwood for the first time this summer, and the T-Shirt that got my attention was “I’m not gay, but $20 is $20.”

Sure, but what had happened that led up to that.  When it comes to feuds my philosophy tends to be that somebody “started it.”

My impression of that was that Harmon was butthurt about Chevy being a dick and retaliated, and then the execs in their infinite wisdom decided that Chase’s star power was more valuable than Harmon’s creative vision. If that’s the case it doesn’t really prove that he was the “bigger asshole.”

I mean, I just won’t pay a reseller, regardless of price. I missed out on Radiohead at Madison Square Garden this summer, but whatever. It’s obvious that Ticketmaster enables scalping when you wait for the exact on-sale time and still get shut out, and then the tickets are all over stubhub.

Maybe that’s how they do it in bum-ass Hamilton Heights, but as I already mentioned up here in Wash Heights we do 22-25% cause we be high rollers. The question is what do the normals do in other parts of the country.

I’m actually a little disoriented by the suggestion that a standard tip is 20%. I thought it really was 15%? I mean, I always tip a little over 20%, like 22-25%, and I feel like Mr. Bigbucks, but aren’t there a lot of people out there doing 15?

Pretty sure I saw her “new husband” on the street in New York the other day.  I was taking my dog to the vet.

I’m not buy this was some “spontaneous” event.

no?

Exactly, no pointless debate about what the gesture means or doesn’t mean, just “you got caught screwing around on TV, you are out of here.”

NOT ME I AM DUMB AND NOW I’M ALL MAD ABOUT IT

I mass emailed all of my students once, and three of them responded with the exact same thing in rapid succession (something like “thanks for the update!”). So yes.
