Use the chrome plugin called kinja-improve. You can block him. Right now in this thread I see a bunch of pleasant green icons that indicate that he’s blocked, plus a few dozen people dunking on him. Muuuuch less annoying.

I have a lot of dreams where I end up “driving” my car from the back seat (thus having no ability to actually control it as I come up to a red light or whatever.) This is always my fault in the dream - it’s just some dumb decision I made to drive that way.

How is there “no good answer”? The answers are (1) change the corporate culture so that these complaints are taken seriously and (2) more women in top management. Maybe they aren’t “easy answers” but it’s pretty obvious what needs to be done.

But of course segregation is what’s causing that insanity right there. The idea that there are districts where there is a bright line between “good” schools and “bad” schools which radically affects property values (further reinforcing the disparity) is just nuts in this day and age.

Look, there are a LOT of shows I don’t watch. You couldn’t fit all the shows I don’t watch into the Hollywood bowl.

The arguments about whether the Pearson text inspired the question (or if this particular teacher is just a racist wing-nut) should be easy to resolve. Look at the relevant pages in the textbook and look at the teachers guide. The smoking gun is either there or it isn’t.
