“Apology not accepted. Go fuck yourself.”

Well, you know, I said other things, and they didn’t quote that. They just quoted the stuff that they knew would make everybody mad. It’s really unfair. Anyway, that other stuff I said? It recontextualized this comment in a way that I am unable to reiterate now. It was, like, lots of serious shit that made me look

Using “literally” to describe something that obviously isn’t literally true is just hyperbole. The word doesn’t even change meanings, people, one is just using it in a way that is not true for rhetorical effect.

I always refer back to Richard Wagner, who may be the greatest composer of all time...

“Assume that your coworkers are there because this is their job and they want to get paid. Assume that they are not there to flirt with you and have zero interest in romantic interaction. Keep your comments about appearance and relationships to yourself, and make no physical contact beyond handshakes. Do not talk

The Dunkin’ Donuts parodies were clearly paid shilling. I wonder if there isn’t some back-and-forth between the writers’ desk and the PP department. “So-and-so’s interested, do you think you can do something with that?”

Unfortunately I think it makes sense that Trump’s team actually planned the whole visit. Trump basically lost the narrative two weeks ago, and you know he can’t just walk away from anything (despite the many more pressing issues we face.) This is his idea of winning it back.

It is a reference to Temple Grandin, probably the most famous autistic-spectrum person in the U.S., who specialized in designing more humane facilities to process livestock. She noticed that cattle chilled out when they were is a “squeeze chute” and designed one for herself.

Yeah, for a party that constantly bitches about political correctness, this is some of the biggest PC horseshit I’ve ever seen. These protests hurt nobody, but Republicans insist through the most tendentious logic that they are somehow an insult to the troops and compete to see who can be more offended about it.

I endorse this plan. It is both doable and practical.

What I don’t get is how people don’t recognize that this is a massive wave of right-wing political correctness, with Republicans now competing to see who can be the most offended by something that doesn’t actually affect them one bit.

Didn’t some kid win a science fair by comparing the amount of ecoli in a bunch of chain restaurants’ ice to the amount in the toilet water?

hundreds of people have all conspired together

Your mom has a marginal place.

Harvey seems to have Cosby-level problems now. Since his piggish behavior surely exceeds the bounds of what was documented in the NYT story, all these other people are going to come out of the woodwork. He can’t have NDAs with all of ‘em, and he’ll soon be out of a job and powerless to influence anybody’s career.

Larger than life, I hear.

Well, this did happen at the Met...

I just wonder where his head was at when it was over and he was sinking the sub. Was he panicking and trying frantically to elude punishment or thinking “now my brilliant plan enters phase C.” I kinda hope it’s the latter (that he thinks he’s an evil genius) because then we can laugh at how inept his scheme was.

But what ever issue that involves Chicago is generally some broad faceless report.

Hmm, that IS interesting! No, wait, not interesting, what’s the word I’m looking for...
