This reminds me of the time I had a long back-and-forth trolling session with some random Disqus poster who seemed to think I was Dan. You probably can't talk to Dan this way! Dan is pure light and energy.

OK, so far in the PROS columns we've got better Dan Savage, better punk rock, presumably better Shepard Fairey-style paste-ups. In the CONS side…
I used to be a fan of some porn link aggregator site, and once followed a link promising photos of this year's Mardi Gras only to find non-nude and entirely non-sexual photos of my second cousin. (She lives in NOLA and designs elaborate costumes for her krewe.) I later excitedly told her "I saw you on the internet,…
Yeah, Fatal Attraction and Election were very educational movies for young me. Basically when you strip the away the hysteria the lesson seems to be that infidelity leaves you completely vulnerable.
Eh, FWIW I do think the second clip adds to it - if the dog doesn't want to do it AND it's demonstrable that he couldn't swim in that wave tank, that's abuse.
Would you describe your outlook on life as "post-woke"?
I also read it as Kit Cat Fight Club and clicked, thinking it was a joke act involving the candy bar and violence.
Counterpoint: Americans are superficial, consume news as if it were infotainment, and this bullshit is what they remember. "Read my lips." "Mission Accomplished." "George Bush doesn't care about Black people." "If you like your insurance plan, you can keep it."
As a new yorker, I didn't really care for "Far Away." I was too hurt and bitter and the song sounds like a rave-up, way too energetic.
Not so sure about that. There are still plenty of people who see clothes on their new emperor, and think the rest of the world is being "unfair" and not "giving him a chance."
If you are citing a number as low as 15%, I also wonder how much is just random human failure - not understanding the question and/or answering in bad faith - and what % you'd get in any other part of the world.
Yeah, I think if that is the argument, we are definitely already fucked. We even have the election results to prove it. Remember that most Americans can't be bothered to read a newspaper any more and Fox News is the #1 news source.
I live rent free in your mom's vagina.
Yeah, to put it in a much cruder way, all the tech and entertainment blogs you read wouldn't be doing so much politics if it wasn't resonating with readers. Plus, we can safely assume that somebody at Univision wants it this way.
Since Easy E likes the greatest hits of the 90s:
“If the people who shot and edited the video thought something was wrong, why did they wait fifteen months to do anything about it, instead of immediately going to the authorities?”
All reading is misreading.

Oy, my computer has this quirk where, if you don't push the headphone plug all the way into the jack, it gives you sound through the phones AND continues playing through the speakers. Needless to say I've unwittingly treated my neighbors to some porn sounds once or twice.
Remember when Republicans were upset about the seasonal rise in gas prices during the first year under Obama? (As though it had never happened before?) I would think that if he deserved the blame then he would deserve the credit for driving the price down over 8 years.
