It is pretty hilarious that, outside the US, we have had R and TV-MA programming on Disney+ for a long time, we have parental controls to deal with it, and nobody loses their cool.

I always giggled when I would see references to good ol’ C+ C+ Dowd in the comment section, and I admit I would mutter it under my breath whenever you would pan a movie I liked, but I never knew just where it began. This is a great piece. I will miss your writing here, although with pretty much all of my favorite

This is jaw dropping in its audacity. I mean, he did know that he was scamming people out of millions of dollars, right? And just bought a house right there next to the people he was scamming? What was his endgame? There was a sell-by date on this scam, and there was no avoiding consequences. He could have just tried

I somehow missed this movie when it first came out (2005? Yeah, I had my first baby that year, so that might explain it....) and kind of avoided it when it seemed to get a rather lukewarm reception. One of my favorite movies of all time is Sense and Sensibility, though, so I finally watched this one a few years ago

Just watched this, and I can highly recommend it. I am the parent of a 17 y.o. boy on the spectrum, and in fact the character of Jack is extremely reminiscent of my son (even down to what he looks like), so much so that I was dying laughing in his opening scene. It was exactly like how my son would have handled the

Way late to this rather sparsely attended party, but I just want to say I agree with pretty much everything in the review and the comments, but wanted to reiterate that the chemistry between the leads is SMOKING hot, even if she is a bit boring, and that I have never before gasped out loud at a man kissing a woman’s

I’ve read three of the accounts on Instagram linked by people I follow, and they are horrifying. This goes way beyond standard contractor flakiness and right into grifter territory. “Charming frauds” was the phrase used to describe the designers responsible for the fiasco. I’m glad that they are seeing some

Banal just about ended me. But so far (only 5 days) I have gotten all of them on the 4th try. I am dying to get one on the third.

Well that’s horrible.

Don’t forget Fleabag!

Ah, thanks! That was the solution. Yeah, this is the only site I am ungreyed as well, so I guess that explains it.

Does anyone know why I can’t see comments on any of the other sites around here? Was there some “block all greys” thing that happened? Or do they no longer allow comments anywhere but here? So strange.

This is a pretty good ranking, overall, although I agree with other commenters that Agents of SHIELD needs to be way higher. Top 5 at the very least. I found both What If and FATWS not that great, so they could both be moved down. For me (not having seen all of these tbf), Top Five would be: 1. Loki, 2. Daredevil, 3.

Some of my very favorite movies are in this article, interesting. I love Punch Drunk Love so much, and I’m so glad you included that scene, although it makes me miss PSH a whole lot. He and Sandler are so great in it. Such a strange, magical movie.

YES. That was the line that stuck out to me as well. Just perfection.

This was a fun read! I was an adult (soon with children) when the books came out, so despite reading almost exclusively fantasy and science fiction, I didn’t get into them until a number of years after they became such a phenomena. I...liked them okay? Like, they were fine. I reread them at one point and discovered

Wow. These stories and footage are truly harrowing. That one video of the people trampling others who were trapped on the ground is just shocking.

(This comment is unrelated to the review, I picked it because a shirtless Lee Pace is a gift to the world...) Would love to know why the powers that be decided to remove functionality from this site yet again. What happened to searching by show for reviews? Used to be a drop down menu to find every show with reviews

Every time I see her in anything, I always go, “Why do I know this woman? And why don’t I like her?” And then I realize she was that horrid step mother in Sense and Sensibility, and everything falls into place. She’s always so good in everything, even when she is playing a complete harridan.

I get your annoyance! The way I have come to deal with it is I always google “Name of Show av club” after I finish anything, and that way I can read all the interviews and articles that I had been avoiding for reasons of spoilers. Works perfectly!
