I absolutely loved Grunschlk, in that way you do with a completely despicable character that you nonetheless want to see in every scene. Just great fun. And yes, @avclub-a1967e6de4ca99fb2635d94b99453928:disqus , thank you for figuring that out! I knew he reminded me of something!

Put this in the column of "complete newbie misses something obvious" but how exactly did Braca and Scorpius escape the firebombing of the shadow depository? Did I miss something? It seemed like, in the last episode, our gang were hiding in a vault, then there was a shot of Scorp sauntering down a hallway, then the

Yes, I kind of assumed that the new-ness of the Scorpius-John was because the personalities had merged to some extent. Which is creepier, somehow, than just having good ol' Scorpy walking around.

That's me! I was seven. I freaking loved the Ewoks. I even loved that Ewok movie. And I still don't have a problem with Ewoks. I await the pitchforks.

Ha! I've never seen that Random Roles! Thanks.

Mind you don't cut yourself, Mordecai!

@Scrawler2:disqus Sing it, sister.

Thank GOD someone finally mentioned the Vorkosigan novels. Bujold is one of my favorite authors, and I think it is insane that nobody has tried to movie or tv one of her novels yet. And I am deeply sad that Dinklage is pretty much too old to play Miles at this point. He isn't exactly who I picture when I'm reading,

YES.

I just covered my eyes and told my husband to tell me when it was over. That's properly, right?

This is one of those movies I can always watch. Doesn't matter what mood I'm in, or how tired I am. If it is on, I am watching. Just a wonderful, beautiful film.

YES AGAIN!!! Nothing depressing. It was like peeking behind a curtain at an adult world you didn't quite understand or believe in necessarily, but it felt like truth.

Thank you! So many people here talk about being traumatized, or finding it depressing, and I simply do not understand. One of my favorite books of all time (top ten for sure) and the movie is eerie and haunting and beautiful.

Now see, I saw both of these as a child (maybe 9 or 10) and loved them both unreservedly. I had dreams about that bunny afterlife for years, and the book is still one of my favorites. Return to Oz I haven't seen since then, but man was I obsessed with it as a child. I even had the movie poster. Wish I still did.

I'm still here! I don't always get a chance to see the featured episodes before the review posts, but I am up to date right now! The Locket was a trifle, as much as I liked John's southern Grandpa (reminding me very much of my own, actually), but I enjoyed the Ugly Truth. D'argo's stance during his testimony was

Hear hear! All of the Fool books are golden, hah, and the Liveship series starts slow and turns goddamn awesome. I read the Soldier Son series with my hands over my eyes, though, if that makes sense.

well, I'm a newbie and I'm still here. I don't tend to comment because everyone else here is so full of insight that I feel no need. I love this comment section, though! Great stuff.

HOW I WISH I WAS IN SHERBROOKE NOW-UH!

Yes! "Flowers of Bermuda" is my favorite of those, what a fantastic song.

I think I liked the movie more than you did, but I agree on the violence. I would love to watch it again since it was hilarious, but I can't stand all the really brutal deaths.
