Comparing those combat flight simulators to Star Fox is like comparing Operation Flashpoint to Quake...

I'm a PC gamer and I feel the need to call you out for being a dick and calling peoples consoles "piece of shit machines". That was purely antagonistic. Next time, just say "consoles".

Curved TV's are an even lamer gimmick than 3D.

You're right. The original Star Wars films are great, but they're hardly the dark girtty sci-fi movies some people make them out to be. They're action-adventure popcorn flicks.

You're not accounting for one of the most valuable resources of all: Time. It would take me a minimum of 3-4 times as long to get anywhere in my area using public transportation. I'll take my car over a lousy public bus any day.

In the amount of time it would take me to learn and do those repairs myself, I could do some freelance work and make twice the cost of paying someone else to do it.

Large corporations have their own windows licenses and customized images they use on any laptops they buy. They don't care what comes shipped on the laptop since the first step in setting it up for the end user is to wipe the hard drive and image it.

A lot of this isn't CGI, it's multiple real world shots composited together.

I have the game for my Vita, but can't get past the piss-poor performance. I think this game runs at 20fps more than it runs at 30. Should I just give up and grab the PC version?

Console launches have always been pretty dry. When you were a kid, you probably just didn't get a new console until it already had a respectable library built up.

IMO, Killzone Shadowfall is basically a COD clone in molasses. I enjoyed the campaign but the multiplayer practically puts me to sleep.

There are still a lot of us who have no interest in services like Spotify.

I use foobar at home but keep Winamp on my work computer. I think Winamps small UI works better for my crowded work environment.

I guess you learn something every day.

2000 was a really solid release. Great upgrade from 98 SE and provided some modern features to those of use waiting for XP to get fixed up.
