What better things do you have to do?

Serenity was the first Joss Whedon thing I ever saw and I enjoyed it a lot, I had never even heard of Firefly at the time.

I just finished it myself, and I agree. It weirdly felt like a significant step back even from the first one. Time may have distorted my memory, but I remember Sam, Roth, and Roth's crew being much more engaging supporting characters than Joseph and Sofia.

That Magnificent Seven-style ending got me so pumped. I don't care how much sense the mission makes, those seven dudes on a mission is enough for me.

Daybreak was a great show, full stop, no equivocations needed.

Lady Shiva or David Cain would be cool, but I'd prefer that James Gordon Junior's terribleness doesn't make it into any other mediums.

I remember it for the surprisingly good fake Wings song that played over the credits

It was a lot better than I thought it would be. The very first song was so good. "You are not good enough / you gotta do something else / so take that dream you have / and put it on a fucking shelf!"

Haha, that line stuck out to me too. My Boys was a charming enough half-hour for a while, but come on, how much credit could it have possibly earned her?

What was the crossover? The Invincible joke?

The first episode of Jericho is so great, the second episode was fine, but by the third episode I felt like the air was already being let out of the tires. I think being on CBS hurt it a lot. It never felt like it was serious about its premise. In his Random Roles interview, Gerald McRaney talked about how the writers

The thing about Hall Pass is, it's a film that's worth watching.

I'm sorry, but this is fucking nuts!

The DVD boxset with the first thirty episodes just came out. You can buy it off Amazon.

If a Sons of Anarchy character reacted to this news, they would say "Jesus Christ!"

Will Harris Random Roles are the best.

Alison Brie and Betty Gilpin were on a recent episode of WTF (the podcast), and Marc Maron brought up the upcoming episode where the two of them go train with them in the outdoor ring. Gilpin and Brie hint that they made them uncomfortable, with Gilpin implying that they were leering at her a lot of the time.

Wait, why? Did he not want her to kill the neighbor after all?

And it was written by Brian Michael Bendis. Solid game.

Written by Jason Mantzoukas! And agreed, that episode was the best.
