i think that melania does herself no favors standing next to FLOTUS. the genuine warmth next to the steely coldness of excess botox and lack of a soul is very jarring.

Though I suspect we all feel like this

I know, it’s pathetic...! During the election, these same people bitched about her shrewdness & experience (“We want a new fresh inspiring charismatic outsider to fall 100% in love with! We don’t want the same old grunt who does nothing but work!”)..... Now we’re facing the grim meathook reality of what happens…

Just last week on this very website I watched people lament about how the DNC needed someone with progressive beliefs and a certain amount of shrewdness and experience in order to actually get shit done. And noooobody talked about how we had exactly that in our candidate this fall.

If Al Franken runs (OMG PLEASE PLEASE) he’ll likely be facing Pence.

It’s as if Trump and his transition team were like “let’s pick the worst possible candidates for all of our cabinet positions!” Between Price, DeVoss, Tillerson, Pruitt, and Sessions, this cabinet is a fucking joke.

I definitely don’t think they’re wasting their breath. It needs to be said, and better it be said here than not at all.
