Can’t imagine wanting to be in Florida in the summer EVER

It’s kind of amazing to see how Republicans have basically devoted themselves to completely tearing apart our entire civilization. I know we all understand that but every now and then it hits me all over again. I mean...the post office? Is there anything else in our culture that has touched absolutely every American

Now playing

Whatever the general, “normal times” gripes certain folks may have about the Postal Service, for decades now it has been a government-based employment conduit to the middle class for many Black Americans. A big part of that have been the union-related benefits, including the pension. But that has been under attack,

Here’s a good laugh: ask your “Libertarian” friend when was the last time they voted for a Libertarian.

Apparently, there’s no Black American actors to play these high profile roles. 🙄

These damn fascist seat belt laws are infringing on my inalienable right to fly through my windshield in a fatal collision.

The better question is why would you vote for a grown ass adult who hasn’t figured out libertarianism is nothing more than a selfish fantasy.

Openly female?

It was probably angry about the Libertarian parties hostilities to environmental protections.

I disagree with Mr. Sanders. The players in the NFL are the ones that count. They are human beings. They have families, some with underlying problems that if they come in contact with the disease could mean death. They don’t need to carry it home.

I am not surprised Deion Sanders sounds like a tone-deaf idiot. As a talking head on the NFL Network, he’s a company man through and through until the end. His take on players sitting out is about as solid as his ability to tackle WRs; not very good.

Only the refs, umps, and officials are needed?

It’s an odd argument. We’re in the middle of a pandemic. People are getting sick, and some are dying. The players are expendable to their employers, but their lives are not expendable to their families. Seems like Deion is illuminating the wisdom of the players’ decisions.  Rather than risking sickness and/or death by

What you thought was “colorblind” was blind to injustice committed under your nose.

The devil tells his lies using pieces of the truth. Or something like that.

For as long as we’ve been human, we’ve sat around the fire at night and told stories. It’s what we still do, except the fire has moved into the television, the movie theater, and the classroom. The stories we tell are like the stories we’ve always told, from Gilgamesh to Odysseus to Iron Man, they’re about a few of us

I find that if someone says the Civil War was about states’ rights, asking “A state’s right to do what?” usually results in a lot of stammering.

It’s got to be shouted out in the streets. Dems cannot take a single vote for granted. Doesn’t matter what all these nice polls report. Complaceny will lose this election and if we lose, this country is done. When I talk to people around my neighborhood, I try to stick to the point of how Trump has abandoned us in the
