The candidate is running to win the primary, not beat Trump. Less than half the dem base even votes in the primary. The majority of dems who cast ballots didn’t vote, or donate to candidates in the primary.

I made it quite clear what I thought drove this in my original comment. Anger. Protest voting. Because we’re all sick and fucking tired of seeing other women held to a double/impossible standard. This is the third time it’s been done in the democratic national primary, in a row FFS, and we’re fucking tired of it.
