I don’t do the twitter, so it took me a while to get the replies directly to Omar. Wow, none supporting her. Just words put in her mouth, and negativity for failing some bs leftist purity test. Gross.

I’m not going to get into a Facebook fight with this woman. I’ve only met her once in person and I don’t have to deal with her on a daily basis.

Why not just unfriend them then? Or at least unfollow so you don’t have to see the stupid? Like, we all have plenty of dip shits we have to deal with irl, why keep the

Well, he is an amateur. So that’s on brand.

You personally helped BoJo win huh? Had no idea the Jez comment section held such sway in the UK. I’m impressed.

Wow. Holy get a fucking life Batman.

That fallout was predictable if anyone but Bernie ran. The link I posted was from 9 hrs ago though. Way before results were posted, it was evident that Biden didn’t do well. His campaign was the first to scream foul.

The real irony is that Biden was the candidate who put this “rigged” narrative out there.

At this point, they really shouldn’t have released the results until they had 100%.

“Pedophile Towel”? You’re disgusting. Fuck off.

FauxBama yes. As for it not working, not on voters of color, but white people eat this shit up.

I don’t disagree with any of this. I’m personally looking forward to his epic crash in SC.

No Pete isn’t comparable to Obama, he’s just duplicating his campaign style. Badly, because Obama had magnetism. Pete does not. That’s why he’s being referred to as “Obama-lite” when he attempts these grand speeches.

Her genre of music isn’t my thing (country or pop). As such, the extent of my “Swift exposure” is the stream of think pieces dissecting her every move (on lack thereof) and the resulting comment strings. I watched the dock out of pure curiosity about how this woman will talk about herself. It was creepy and surreal.

I tire of this dismissal of everything twitter. Sure a toxic section of the population may be over represented there, that’s why I don’t have an account. That in no way erases the fact that print and cable media outlets are sourcing its content for discussion, which brings the entire public in one way or the other.

Twitter is truly a cesspool that I have no interest in. I already have enough exposure to idiots.

Sure, that she was a special target of theirs was a fair statement. And that in no way means that she saved any other woman by being targeted, or that any woman in politics owes her for existing. Which seems to be implied.

Yeah, I can unequivocally agree that the rampant misogyny of that election inspired a lot of women to run. That’s an entirely different lane than “you would be nothing without Hillary” though.

*insert Jack’s Lack of Surprise*

He has that self satisfied air of self superiority that I find particularly annoying. Sounds on brand.

I agree that caucuses are BS. Iowa is only a big deal because it’s first. It would be nice if the first state was more representative of the national demographics. Or even 2-3 states going first in one night that were a cross section of demographics. Like keep IA as the rural/white/agricultural sample, bring in a

The whole article wasn’t focused on twitter though. There were plenty of political pundits who piled on, who were also quoted.
