He consistently polls in the 20's. It’s enough to win the primary with a wide field splitting the vote, but far from bulletproof. Hillary was polling higher in the 2016 primary, and look what we ended up with. 

Biden getting the nom virtually guarantees a second Trump term. He hasn’t lost enough of his base, and Biden isn’t going to drive up Dem turnout.
