I actually would’ve liked the game better if it was entirely a dollhouse game without the rest of it. The NPCs are cute but really just recycle the same few basic personalities. There isn’t a ton of real interaction you can have with them. Getting items requires checking the store on the daily or doing fairly tedious

After the unexpected announcement of a beautiful Pokemon Snap sequel, I was so excited that this “second big announcement” would be something tremendous, or at least a Let’s Go sequel. This is... meh. Honestly it would’ve been fine if they just hadn’t hyped it beforehand. I wouldn’t have cared otherwise but now it

While I love Snap for what it is, it also was promising to me because an open world with better graphics and more Pokemon natural behavior holds so much promise for the main games—or at least an open world spinoff. Gotta admit I’m rather disappointed; I hope a Pikmin 4 for the NX is still in the works. My biggest joys in Pikmin were for the most part exploring a lush, beautiful landscape, and on top of a lot of that being sucked dry in a 2D format, the new graphics look pretty... pitiful.
