This is everything I have ever dreamed of.

Wow, I’ve never seen non-plus 18 or 20 anywhere. I know a couple of people who could really use such magical sizing (I want to find dresses that are a 12/12W in the boobs, a 10 in the waist, and a 14W in the ass without having to pay for tailoring, so I need some magic too! Oh yeah: and I’ll need some room in the

Or as my husband calls me “sturdy”. Lol I was so offended at first (he’s from europe) but he’s like no I want like someone who is strong not some limp noodle of a woman ;)

YAAAAAAS!

I know, Right?!? We have awakened and we ARE FUCKING GLORIOUS!

I like Old Navy okay for basic workout stuff. But in my experience, they don’t have good options for other types of activities like hiking and more active/adventurous travel. Whenever I find plus size options anywhere, which is rare to begin with, they all seem to be more suited for the look as opposed to for the

I’m like an inch too tall for petites. I think you’re right about the shorter rise but I don’t recall exactly because I can’t buy petites either. For me they’re neither long enough for pants nor short enough for cropped.

Who cares about men not feeling “alone” in the semi-naked women they like to look at?

Reminded of this Amy Poehler quote about Sports Illustrated:

she’s actually one of three covergirls; the others are MMA fighter Ronda Rousey and model Hailey Clauson.

That’s the thing, though. All women, no matter what they look like, receive messages that say that their bodies aren’t good enough. Thin women should be more muscular or should have rounder asses and bigger boobs. Fat women should be thinner and tighter but still shapely. Muscular women should be less bulky. It’s a

I can’t believe that anyone looking anything like Rousey, Graham or Clauson could be ashamed of their body...

I find the swimsuit cover every year to be really annoying. But I do like that this may give men who prefer ladies who do not have Kiera Knightley’s figure to feel like they’re not alone. As for how the ladies feel about the cover....I though we were all on board that all of us are gorgeous, ......no?

What would really be groundbreaking is not seeing semi-nude or nude women featured in a magazine about sports. And further hearing it praised as inspiration for little girls who are maybe sort of fat but still really beautiful and with nice boobs.

This is pedantic, but Robin Lawley, who is 6'2” and 180 pounds and a size 12, was previously featured in the SI: Swimsuit issue. So this is not the first time that a “plus size model” has been featured in the magazine. However, this only goes to prove how ridiculous the term “plus size model” is because, at 6'2" and a

“decided to actually stick with the womanly body”

I gotta say as a woman who was ashamed —terribly ashamed —of my body that looked very much like this. Now, after two kids and tons of scarring & operations, I finally understand that I had a right to be fully myself all this time. I am beginning to honor this warrior, champion body; my truest, most loyal friend.

Rousey is not wearing anything. That’s paint.

I wonder if someone can explain to me why, in the name of all that’s holy, this stupid thing becomes a lead item around the world every goddam year? It’s one issue of one magazine, and it’s about as archaic and retrograde as it gets. Even Jezebel is covering it. Why? Why do people even care anymore? Explain!
